异柠檬酸脱氢酶 isocitrate dehydrogenase 有两种类型的酶:要求以NAD为辅酶的酶(EC1.1.1.41)和要NADP的酶(EC1.1.1.42),两者催化同一反应。在胞液中以NADP+为辅酶,在线粒体内膜中以NAD+为辅酶。

在三羧酸循环中正常起作用的是要求NAD为辅酶的酶,此酶是为ADP激活的变构酶。
百度百科 异柠檬酸盐脱氢酶基因IDH1 和 IDH2当中所发生的突变,已在神经胶质瘤(最常见的脑瘤)和包括白血病在内的其他癌症中被发现。发生突变的酶产生“2-羟基戊二酸”(2HG),它是一种潜在的致癌代谢物。

Mutations in the enzyme cytosolic isocitrate dehydrogenase 1 (IDH1) are a common feature of a major subset of primary human brain cancers.
